How To Get Started with the New Drum Chart Builder App for Active Accounts

Hi Users,

I want to reach out to all of you to tell you that we have released a new Drum Chart Builder App.
The app has been completely rebuilt.

I have been working on all of your requests to make this app the coolest app on the planet for all drummers like you. Thank you for being patient as I work with a very cool developer who created my vision of what this app should be able to do.
To get started:
1. Start a new Account in the New Drum Chart Builder
2. Migrate your charts over into your new account. You will have time to do this

The method of building your charts will be the same.
The new version is more stable, fast, simple to use and packed with new features like playable patterns and a new more accurate notation program with multiple instruments so you can build all those fills.

How This Will Affect You and Your Account
You will have to start a new account in the new version to start migrating your charts into the new version of Drum Chart Builder. You will have control of the transfer of all the charts. You will also have access to the current version of Drum Chart Builder through the new website so you can migrate all your charts until September 2025.

Active Accounts
We will give all Active Drum Chart Builder Legacy users, a free 3 month Standard Subscription for the new Drum Chart Builder App that we will add to your new account.
Please send us an email at liz@drumchartbuilder.com to tell us the email you used to open a new account to receive the 3 month entitlement.
We will transfer your current remaining subscription into the new app plus 3 months. Please note that we can only do that after you create a new account in the new app. If you need more time to do the migration let us know.

Migrating Your Charts One by One Into the New Version.
Because this is a new version, you will have to migrate your charts that you want to keep into the new version. You will have control on migrating your charts so you don’t have to worry about losing charts.
We have made it simple and easy for you to do.

How to Migrate Your Drum Charts Video.

The Song Information and the Full Song Form will migrate correctly.
Because we have updated the notation program, all your Drum Patterns and notation from the Insert Figure tool will not transfer so you will have to add all notation back into your charts.
The good news is that you will learn how to build new patterns using the new pattern editor really quickly.

Note: As I migrate my charts, I have found that keeping both charts open side by side makes it really easy to copy the notation and copy and paste any text you have added. See Video

The new app is available at Drumchartbuilder.com as a Web App
Go to The App Store and Google Play to download the app so you can use it on your
iPad, Tablet, Android and iPhones.

There is a new website. There is a link for you and all legacy users to be able to get into the Legacy version if you go through the website. If you use the app icon, which I do, there will be no problem since you will go directly into the Drum Chart Builder Legacy app.
